You are warmly invited to “Virgin, Child, and Angels: Candlelight Christmas Concert”, an evening of sacred and secular music celebrating the holiday season. Canticum Scholare will perform works by Palestrina, Hassler, Parsons, and their favorite carols!

Canticum Scholare is a professional a cappella ensemble based in New York City specializing vocal music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras. The group is composed of talented musicians that possess extensive vocal performance experience in polyphony with a great love of the tradition. Since their inception in 2013, Canticum Scholare’s goal is to ensure that early music continues to live on in the thriving New York City musical scenes. They are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in New York and are fully supported by the generosity of our donors.
